Someone told me once that it was a Cuban Sugar plantation token (about 15 years ago). I think the person found information in Rulau. Is my memory right? Worth anything?

If you google Central Santa Lucia Gibara you will find a number of references to this Cuban Sugar plantation token. No idea on the value.

I guess its value will be determined by the market (by that I mean ebay). I suspect I spent either 20c or 25 c on this thing in about 1996, so...just about anything would be a good return on investment. Who knows, I just sold a token from Ecuador that I really did not know anything about which I had gotten in a bulk lot. Someone paid over $20 for it, I paid pretty much nothing.
