I pulled this cent out of a box over the weekend. You can see a faint image of Lincoln along with the motto. I think it's dated 1995, but am not positive. Sorry about the pics, I'm not the greatest photographer.
The term "capped die error" is uninformative as it pertains to both die caps and capped die strikes. This cent is a capped die strike. The coin was struck through a late-stage die cap.
