Is this a 1916 year Buffalo nickel?

    It's really hard to tell, but I believe it's 1916... or is it 1918?

    I am pretty sure it is a 1918. The second picture give a clue to this as the 6 in a '16 buff does not "indent" like the photo hints to. The left part of the 6 is more like a straight line.

    In the second pic, the middle-left of the last digit curves in.

    So, I guess it is a 1918.

    I believe so also. With a coin this worn, if you have some soft graphite ( such as drawing charcoal, you can gently rub it on the surface for an outline, and remove it with air, acetone, or soapy water-plain water rinse.
