I got this one at work today. I work at the bank and it came out of the dispenser. I immediatly sold it to another teller and then bought it from her. It is still crisp. No tears or miscoloring that I can tell. It does have the normal folds but not bad IMO. Is it worth more than face value? I just thought it was rare to find a 1969 $20 bill that was in this good of condition.
I am soo new to this. I started out wanting to collect coins and have found myself very interested in notes. I just don't know anything about them yet. I've yet to find any of the interesting serial numbers. I've found this one and then a $1 that I thought had an error but not sure still if it does or not.
here is the $1 http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8BcM3Lly3asI8¬ag=1 Go to the bottom right of the pic and you'll see a spot that say go to albums or something like that. Then you can view the back of the note.
I'd keep it for sure! Even if you don't feel like leeping it I bet you could find a collector willing to take it off your hands for a little over face value. I had a near perfect old $20 bill, from 1950, that someone spent where I was working once... didn't have the cashflow at the time to buy it out of the register though... always wished I had! Been a long time since I even seen 1995 or older $20's. Would definitely keep the next one I come across.
