Is this 1988 a struck through /grease filled or PMD ?

    I do not think it is grease. Grease would not give you the pitting I am seeing on the reverse and it sure looks to me like the obverse rim has been affected by what happened to the reverse. I am far from sure of these, but it just does not look like grease to me.
