    It's 1985 on one side and looks like 2009 on the other.
    Did they have a 2009 nickel laying around the mint in 1985?

    Hmmm, my adVISE would be a VISE job of some type. Post Mint Damage or PMD. Keep looking for the genuine double struck in collar. There are some good books on mint errors and some good online error information from top error specialists. Happy coin collecting. Follow Paddyman 98 to learn about errors.
