I have what seems to be a 1983 Lincoln Cent with possible Doubled Die Reverse. This coin also has a great Obverse Side. Look closely at the picture there is a Die Dot at the end of nose. The Reverse side is the most interesting all over. Especially " United States of America". It looks like "TED STATES" was died on the Rim also the "D" is Doubled and can be seen with a Die Mark in the middle of the. . "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is also Doubled Die..What y'all's opinion????
not a ddr but its shelf spred indicates die deterioration inorder for it to be a ddo or ddr you need a split line if 2 distinct impact zones..
A close-up of the reverse rim next to UNITED STATES OF AMERICA would be helfpul. It's possible you've got a case of rim-restricted design duplication like the one shown here: http://www.coinworld.com/articles/faint-letters-on-reverse-rim-may-point-to-hit
