Is this 1958 D worth keeping?

I'm a little lost on this one (I think). Looks like it might have MD/PMD/die deterioration vs die chips just before the 1 and between the 9 and 5. Not sure what's happening with the 8. Is there anything happening with the MM?

Is it worth keeping? IMO: Spend it.

Again, thanks in advance for all comments. I LOVE this site!

    I don't see any doubling.

As far as the area between the 9 and 5, it could be a die chip.

Thanks for the replies. Sometimes I just need to take a break from the coins I guess. I start seeing things that aren't there and probably miss things that are.

I always keep the wheaties. Even if they don't hold their numismatic value in the future, they're still pure copper!

Not to be picky, but I think pre 1982 and some 1982 cents are 95% copper, with the remainder comprised of zinc and tin depending on the year. However, I agree, keep all "copper" cents.

Now, based on the pis at hand, I do not see any real numismatic value. I agree that there is what appears to be a die chip. Also, die wear is apparent from the MM.

Nice, if you buy them wholesale at a nickel apiece, sell em for a dime, nice. Of course, search em first, then sell the regulars.
