Is this 1913 $2.50 BU?

    Looking to bid on this beautiful 1913 $2.50 gold piece and my question is- Does it look BU as far as you can tell from the pics? If so, what's it worth? And if not, what would you grade it? Thanks!

    Even though the pics are not anywhere near good enough to grade the coin, they are good enough to say that the coin is not even close to BU.

    Thanks all, I agree with the not BU but since I am fairly new to this I wanted to make sure.

    not bu because there is some noticeable wear and no mint luster. If whoever is auctioning this claims it is a BU they are a swindler trying to rip off someone who doesn't know better.

    Yes I suppose you're right. No the seller is not claiming it to be BU and apparently I did know better since I came on here and confirmed by own thoughts... :)
