Is this 1812 Capped Bust 50 c. piece an example of the “large 8” variety?

Not too familiar with the Capped Bust series, but I’ve read that the “large 8" variety commands a premium. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    Is it the 1812/1?

Looks like an O-103 (R-1), so no premium. The only time a large 8 commands a premium is on the overdate (O-101) as Larry implied.

    I think it,s a regular 1812 with large 8.

The tops of the 1's don't look the same as in your link, to me? They look like the 1's on a 1814 but I am not the most proficient in U.S. coinage.

The only 1812 "small 8" is the 12/1 small 8. All others are large 8's.
