I'm guessing it's not real because the lettering doesn't look right (among other things). All the genuine examples I've seen have thicker letters, with serifs.
I'm voting cast (fake). Lots of missing serifs; on bottoms of letter C in "COMMON", M in "COMMON", both T's in "MASSACHUSETTS", digit '7' in date, and the list continues. Every detail is very mushy on both the obv. and rev., and to top-it-off the eagle's tail feathers are far from accurate. Sorry... I don't believe your coin is genuine. -Brian
