    It looks like a damaged 1928. Is that correct?

    Contact mark? It's considered damaged either way.

    It is actually a 1923. There is a red eagle on the reverse. It is one of the coins I brought to the event at the hotel.

    Looks like a ‘28 but since it’s a 1923 it’s a common date. If it’s red on the reverse that’s just damage.

    The eagle is red. That is why I took it to the event. It was part of a lot I bought. 3 were nice, two were damaged. I got a bunch of Indian heads too. I think I will sell it as silver.

    It is a 1928 I thought it looked weird with the loop.
