Is the date on this penny double dyed?

    Hey guys just wondering if this penny looks odd. I can especially see something wrong with the 3 on the date. Could it be an error? Any help would be much appreciated...sorry, the pic isn’t very good quality

    I believe what is throwing your eye off on this specimen is the 73 the two numbers do look different than the 19. However....in 1973 the only doubled dies for this date were P and S not the D you can use this web site www.Varietyvista.com
    It has a wealth of information to compare your finds to actual variety coins.

    Coins are struck with a Die not a Dye

    This is double dyed -
