I came across this 1989 Lincoln penny searching coin rolls,I am fairly new to this and sure could use the advice of the experts,on the obverse there appears to be doubling of Liberty,In God we trust,(notably the S and U ),The reverse shows flattening of some letters and apparent doubling in others,it may be wishful thinking on my part but one can only hope.As I stated I am just a beginner so any and all comments deeply appreciated. Thank You

None of the sides are Doubled Die
Just DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling due to a worn Die Strike

The Die used was nearing its end. This is the appearance that is common on Copper Plated Zinc Cents especially on the words IGWT and the date. Considered worthless doubling.

Out of curiosity, has anyone seen a coin with a DDR and a DDO? Seems like the odds of such a coin would be pretty high.

They do exist. But the doubling is very minor.

How about odds of 1960-D DDO, RPM, and Small date/Large Date (3 in 1)
