Is my 1909 VDB a "woody" or just toned?

    I've been checking this out and wondering for weeks about this. I'm thinking just toned since the contrasted color is a purplish color....

    Oh wow! I didn't think that the color would be what it is if it was a woody. I think so much guys, feel a lot better now. I can move on LOL!

    I think there is some of both! The reverse is showing more Woodie effect IMHO! Very nice coin!!
