I fond this strap hunting one dollar bills. It has a smudge on the three just wondering if this is a error or if it is cool to put in my collection how rare is something like it. Thanks for any info.

I wouldn't do hand springs over it BUT if you like then keep it - that's what collecting is all about!! I doubt it has any kind of premium.

    Too minor to me.

Too many people ask these questions around here I have seen.

IF YOU LIKE IT, YOU KEEP IT! Who cares what other people say. It's YOUR collection.

I've got a 2006 $5 bill with a tollbooth stamp on it, and a 2009 $5 bill that is just normal issue. I collect them because I like them, and I needed a $5 for my collection.

I tend to agree with this comment, and the Paper Money Forum does get it's fair share of "Is this a Keeper", and "What is this Worth". The coin guys have a separate forum for these threads called "What's it Worth".

The OP's over inked serial number is minor and probably does not have a premium over face, but it's only a dollar, so if you like, keep it.

look at it this way .. you paid no eBay fees ,no s/h ,no dealer markup and 10 years from now it will be worth $5

^ What Chuck said. You haven't lost anything. And if you decide to sell your collection someday or that you dont need it anymore, you're $5 richer. :)
