Is it worth it?

Hello, I'm new to the forum and had a question about paper money. 3 days ago I learned about the star notes (i'm just starting out), and have found 6 of them now (2-1999 $10, 1-2001 $10, 1-1999 $5, 1-2001 $1, and 1-1999 $1). Is it worth to keep them? Thanks

On average, one of every hundred notes is a star note. Nowadays, star notes not needed to replace other notes are released in packs instead of being destroyed. As a consequence, most modern series star notes are available in quantity, and are not worth more than face value in other than uncirculated condition.

Nonetheless, there are exceptions. This site might help you determine the relative scarcity of your notes:

Wow, I just found out about them when I found a $1 bill in my piggy bank about 3 weeks ago. How were you able to find so many, so quickly? That sounds amazing.
