I came across this a few years ago and thought it was unusual and could be worth something in the future. Its a 2003 10c euro from Ireland but what makes it unusual is the upon punching the press made an error and punched the coin off set so half the coin is unstamped where the other part is normal but some detail missing but now is an irregular shape. Will post picture when I get a change to show more clearly what I mean.
The coin was struck off center. The blank was punched out correctly but when the planchet entered the coining chamber the planchet was not centered in the collar so when the dies came together the coin was struck off center. That's a very nice find. Congrats!
