i found this on ebay and looked at what they are selling it at and i nearly chocked http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=524&item=3925464879&rd=1 is there really only 22 die crackes of this type
Don't buy the hype. Even if the "22 known" claim is remotely close to accurate, that may mean only 22 have been certified according to some population census at the slab shops at some point in time -- in which case it's merely deceptive. And in no case is it worth $100,000...and I'm betting not even $1,000. Though in reality it's worth exactly what a buyer will pay for it, and hopefully that buyer will be knowledgeable and cut through the hype.
ive got a die crack for one of the state quaters it is the geogia one, (no it is not silver) i dont a camera handy so i will try imprevise here is a picture of the same quater this might take a while to find the picture
Die crack I found a Florida quarter with a die crack in the same spot. Must be a stress point for the dies.
something odd about that add i wouldnt bid on a 100 usd item off him let alone that. that account apart from 1 item has been dormant a long time looks to me also like a photograph out a magazine and not a coin as after all why just show the crack ? who selling a 100k item would only show the error looks like some guy having a joke on his old dormant account
