Is it just me???

Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

Is it just my perception or does anyone else think the entire SMS (65-67) series be renamed the "Struck Through Series"? At least for all of the Kennedy halves that is. I have my fair share of sets for each year (no, not the super ultra rare 64 SMS), and better than half of the halves are struck through something. Most of these are on both sides to top it off.

This one I'm showing looks as though it might have retained what it was struck through at the top of the "D" in DOLLAR up to the star over the "O". There is a definite blue hue in the depression while all the others are silver like the coin. The obverse was struck through "WE" strongly with other minor ones sprinkled throughout.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

Just as a general tendency, yes, it almost always IS "just us". Thought you'd appreciate knowing that.
