Although I live in AZ, my family vacationed to MO.
When I was a teenager my younger cousin gave me a coin she says she found in her MO back yard. I would guess the year when the coin was found would be 1974 to 1976.
It is a confederate half dollar dated 1861 .
There is a struck "T" on right side of date.
The word "liberty" appears struck down into the coin.
The edge of coin looks ragged, can see a dividing line down parts of edge.
The other side says "confederate states of america half dol." in caps
The coin almost can be bent, seems soft metal to me.
Is this a replica from long ago?

Welcome aboard,1azcoinaz.What you have got there is a lead forgery of the C.S.A. $1/2.There were only 4 pieces struck,&,yes, they are all well-known pattern coins.

Welcome, and even tho it is a replica it would be a nice start to a coin collection.
