    It helps to show the entire obverse and reverse of the coin and upload as full sized. Many times doubling is just machine doubling. However, certain dates and MMs have known doubling so be sure to check sources for your date and MM to see if there are any known. I thought this one was a known DDR for the date on the America but it is only MD...good eye and keep searching!

    Awesome W mint mark! I can see the "double earlobe" on my 1965 as well. So I don't think it is a true doubled die error. But let's wait to see what other opinions are on your coin.

    Your quarter is showing machine doubling. I have seen the exact same anomaly on other ATB quarters.
