The member with the green skull and crossbones is now my favorite Coin Chat nummy. Wasn't able to chime in on your thread. Not stealing your thunder. But here's what i got to say. Coins are my hobby. I dont have the means to buy coins on ebay or other sites, but i do want to get my grandbabies envolved. I roll search, mostly pennies. I have managed to find a 50d nickel, a Wisconsin low leaf, 1995 doubled die, and a few wide am cents. I am trying to put together lincoln cent books for the pride of my life childrens, children. Not doing so well but i did get a 1918 recently. I do enjoy you verbiage and i also know most num's have better quality coins then grandbabies, but in context (it is what it is) i save the copper cents so that if i'm around in 20 years we can go thru the 71. 72 or the 1960's lincoln cents. So the guy with the Green Skull and Crossbones. I get it. To me its a hobby. So if i ask silly questions. Just remember. All my coins are AG or less and i save nothing. I respect all coin chat opinions Skull and crossbones you rock

Longarm is Green Skull and Crossbones. Sorry longarm. Your battle was great. I ask your opponents, would they use words like moron.or idiot or stupid Would they while talking to mothers, fathers or children. I think not?? Some people try to flex their intelect on coin chat, only to show that their intelligence is wordy but really not using the civil sence we all been taught prior to kindergargen by our parents. To all us nummy's. Knock it off and use your up bringing that you learned from birth and not the snipers you might have become. Social is better then spiteful. Don't try to be alays the smartest in the room. Be civil. I get on coin chat to ask simple question. I find at times the topic thread is completly lost a few replys into the thread. Don't you people see this??? What is this site all about. Banter, information, questions and nummy teamwork. Lets be funny. Not be waiting for Cheech to reply to tell him he said penny or missed a comma. You nummys getting this....... Peace be with us. You got to enjoy the collecting. My husband doesnt understand why i do this. But i bet you_ do. Your all good at what you do. But never forget you were me once. Cheech out❤

If you if you were unable to reply to a thread, it was likely locked for comments by a moderator. Sometimes things get out of hand and the threads get shut down. This is really a pretty civil site and is kept that way by our moderators purposely. Number one, there's really no need to curse while talking about coins. Number two, we have plenty of young members that don't need to be exposed to rude and decisive behavior by other members. And number three, that's how Peter wants it.

You may see that some members seem to argue quite a bit with each other, but you'll have to understand that many of our members know and respect each other and enjoy the back and forth. As long as it's civil, it's allowed and I would think encouraged. There no right or wrong when it comes to certain aspects of numismatics because so much of it is based solely on opinion.

I didn't even realize you were talking about me (green skull and crossbones, duh), but thanks. Believe me when I say, I do not come to this site to cause a kerfuffle, but I have a opinion just like anyone else and when I voice my opinion I don't expect to be insulted.
