I read that silica gel that turns pink when saturated is coated with cobalt chloride. Since PVC is bad for the coin, does that mean this particular silica gel is bad as well? Also, does aluminum interact/react with silver/gold? The silica gel I'm talking about is the pelican silica gel with aluminum casing (http://www.amazon.com/Pelican-1500D-Peli-Desiccant-Silica/dp/B0018O035O)Thanks

I would not expect it to be any problem.
