I found a book on Amazon dealing with coins of Northern Europe and Russia, and I'm kind of curious about it. There are absolutely no customer reviews of it, and I don't want to spend my money on it without knowing anything about it, so I was wondering if anyone here was familiar with it. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Coins-Norther...=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1248234382&sr=8-2
I'm not familiar with the book, but Cuhaj and Michaels are part of the Krause Publications Standard Catalog of World Coins team, so my guess is the book has a whole lot of good information.
I disagree. If you are into Russian coins, you should get V.V. Uzdenikov 1700-1917 Russian coins, second edition. Don't get the third edition as it is confusing. This is the standard for Imperial Russian coins and this is the best value for your money. A bit pricy though.
