I have been trying to get some info. I bought this on EBay with 2 other notes from the same cut sheet(PPS. B1 & E1) about 8 months ago for $39. About 2 months ago, I realized I hadn't seen another on Ebay. Being an E-D block, I couldn't find anything(Heritage aechives,Lyn Knight,etc.). I contacted Azpiazu(pg. 84-new discovery) but got no-where. I then asked Fred Bart asking why he only mentions the E-E block in his book. He had heard of its existence but hadn't verified it. he asked for scans to finallly validate & included in his next edition. Being somewhat unique, I could use any suggestions on how to sell. I've thought about a new PCGS header acknowledging the Engraver's error. bay posting only ntteda few offers from $250-$350. I could go on but have only found Three errors-all E-E blocks at Heritage from 1994-present. A guy name John, who was a member here, helped with his GREAT BACK-PLATE SURVEY. I would appreciate any input. Dave daperrkins1959@yahoo.com
Maybe I'm missing something obvious and if so I appologize, but can you explain or point out what the error is? Thanks, and nice looking note !
My apologies. The Engraving error only occurred on one note in a sheet of 32. The one in the H1 print Position. this is a scan of the note from the same sheet but just to the left. the Back Plate has #3273(correct) matching all the others except one.
