i have what seem's to be an edward 1 halfpennie 1272-1307 but iam trying to confirm coin type and grade olso 1790 what seems to be half guineas your help as allways needed Dave

Alas, you catch me without any references. From what I see, it appears to be a penny of one of the Edwards, Dublin mint. Unfortunately, Irish coinage of Edward appears to fall just outside the range of the Fitzwilliam's Corpus of Early Medieval Coin Finds. The reference you want to look for is Spink's guide to the coinage of Ireland, Scotland, and the Channel Islands.
