Not sure if this is appropriate in this forum, but where would one go to sell common foreign coins? I once collected Irish coins and have 73 I want to get rid of, all denominations, 1928 to 1969. Most are EF to UNC. I have no idea what to do with them or where to go. Any suggestions?
Yea, I know of him. He has had tables at shows next to me. Kind of forgot about him. Mine are common so I was looking for somewhere appropriate.
I like Irish coins and have some past track record with them, albeit on a modest scale. I once completed the entire Irish predecimal series in three Dansco albums, lacking only the rare 1943 florin, of which only 30-some are known, I believe. (I had the 1943 halfcrown, of which only some 500-ish survived.) I'd be amenable to a swap, though if that swap were to include the ancient coin of mine that we most recently discussed, you'd have to toss something else pretty heavy on your side of the scales...
Yep. I got your rough list via PM, but by all means, put 'em on here (or the For Sale forum, with pix or at least grades), and maximize your chance of selling. I'd be happy to consider them in a swap, but have no intention of muscling in and monopolizing the action. If you find another interested party and work out a deal, good for both of you!
