Iowa Statehood 1846-1946 Half Dollar

I came across this Silver Dollar I found interesting, but there is an oddity on the right side pillar

It's a half dollar. I see something but you need better images.

 

It almost looks like a tree.

 

The tree is part of the design.

 

Thanks found it to be odd.
