    Is this coin Ionia, Kolophon ? (Late 6th Cent. 550-525 B.C. ?)
What denomination would it be? Described as a 'Hemidrachm' but no size/weight given.

TC, looks to me like it might be a diobol from Phokaia, Ionia.

I can't answer your question, but I do have one coin from Kolophon. It happens to be silver and 19mm

    Absolutely correct, Bob. Thank-you.
The braids (corn rows) in the hair of the Kolophon coins made me uneasy with the seller's description, but you have nailed it with Phokaia.
