The following Roman Denarius was struck under Septimius Severus at Emisa' (Homs) in Syria. Reverse shows a trophy with captured arms, along with the legend (INVICTO - IMP). In fact, it commemorated the victory over Pescennius Niger. RIC lists the coin as scarce (RIC 389). It weighs 1.98 g. Happy to share it among all coin-friends.
