Guess I'll introduce myself to those of you who don't know who I am. I see some "old" faces here and quite a few "new" ones as well. My name is Jason Craton and I used to collect error coins pretty heavily. I'm not collecting errors any longer because the type of coins that I started to desire were the types of coins that I could NOT afford. It's been a heck of a lot of fun reading this board and answering some questions though. Just thought I'd introduce myself before someone asked who the guy was that "flooded" the whole front page of the error section at cointalk.
Welcome Back Welcome to Coin Talk, Jason! I've just recently fallen in love with variety and error coins. I love the thrill of the hunt. I'm not really into purchasing coins but modern (coins still in circulation) varieties/errors are now my passion. So, it's nice to have another person in the same arena. Someone with a lot more experience then me. :smile Welcome Back. - Christopher
It's good to hear from you, Jason. I'm glad you can break away occasionally from shepherding that large brood of children you've collaborated on with your wife.
Thanks for the welcome guys. Yeah Mike, I believe that if you have more then two children, you are officially a "breeder" ...... yeah, I have three and am a breeder. Jaycob is 13, Matthew is 8 and Aiden is almost 3!!!!! Still doing the stay at home Dad thing. I haven't dabbled with errors for quite some time now. I did go to the Central States Show in St. Louis a while back and picked this up while there.
Welcome Back - Glad to have another member to help those of us that are new to errors!!! Best Regards Darryl
