While searching for certain note for my 1935 set, I came across this one. Can anyone spot the odd coincidence about this note. http://cgi.ebay.com/1-Dollar-Silver...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item230430dec3
Pennywise... Well the 35 G Stars were limited in printing to 1,080,000 with the motto... 8,640,000 without the motto but with a star.... No much else I am aware of on this series.. so let us know. The only other thing I see on the front is the left side SN is darker than the right upper SN..this could be through fading...the images are to fuzzy to make out the check plate numbers.. It also appears that some of the fine detail in the back of the note like the Great Seal and United States Seal is smooth looking and lacking detail in the plate engraving..but hey, that could be the guys scan... I suppose if you don't collect the series it's pretty obscure. The last 4 digits of the serial # is the Friedberg # for this note. Fr.1617* By the way Rickie, you sure can analyze a note.
If by pretty obscure you mean '3 people on the planet would have caught that' and one of them is a dude named Friedberg'...
