Interesting Lincoln Memorial Cent Change Find!

    Got these back in change this morning. I should have asked the cashier to buy all the cent rolls she had!

    They are made of bronze, which is something, but the mintage was 3.7 billion, and the Red Book says they are worth $1 in MS-65 Red. I would not grade any of those pieces MS-65, and you need to find someone who will pay $1 if you did. You don't need to save rolls or bags of these coins.

    I am trying to encourage young collectors to start date sets of coins from circulation, however. I will have an article published in "FUN Topics" sometime this year.

    Nice looking but your money could be better spent as these wouldn’t grade high enough to make it worth the effort.
