Interesting Item, a certified error of an error coin

I guess anybody can have a bad day at work grading coins, or did someone
manage to switch the coins after being sealed in holder?

Just thought it was an interesting item

Well the back leg looks a little weak but this one sure is not my cup of tea!!!!!!!!!

 

huh, thats interesting. Didn't it used to be pcgs's policy to make up the difference on a misgraded, mis attributed coin

 

I bet PCGS would bid on this one to make this problem go away! : )

 

I'm not sure which is the saddest.
People who pay premiums for certain die varieties, just because they got listed in the Red Book, or people who put there blind faith in TPG's.

 

The slab was probably opened and a real three-legged buffalo was taken out and that one was put in
