Interesting Estate Auction Item in NC On 7-2

Found this interesting item checking upcoming auctions. All the dates are in the 1700s and says original pigskin pouch.

I'm not sure what silver coins would look like after over 200 years in a "pigskin pouch", but I'm a bit skeptical that they'd look just like this...

 

Possibly the pouch was thrown in as an add-on, and the coins weren't found in-pouch?

 

It didn't say that they were kept in the pouch, just that you got the original pouch with them.

I'd buy that for a dollar.
