Intercept Shield

For several years now I have stored my slabs inside my safe inside the double row Intercept Shield boxes. They are handy, durable and provide a measure of protection. During the last couple of months I've noticed the intercept liner separating from the boxes. Last night I had the entire liner in one box separate totally. I'm thinking of using good old Elmer's glue to reattach it. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone see any danger in using that glue? The boxes are a little spendy to replace.

Consider - you bought and are using those boxes to protect the coins you store in them - correct ? So is it worth the risk to try and repair the boxes with unknown consequences facing you ?

If I was to do anything I'd leave them alone and continue using them. Or - I'd contact I.S. directly and see if they would replace the boxes for free, at the cost of shipping.

But I would never take the risk of what you are suggesting.
