initials on reverse of penny

    I would say that the f is not touching. What year Cent are you looking at 88-89 or 98-2000?

    sorry I did not show "AM" also I guess my suggestion was that the "fg" is the important thing that holds water between "AM" and "fg"

    Are you searching other year cents that could have type 2 or proof reverses? If that is the case You would need to check the rev. designs for that particular year. probably not the same as newer cents.
