Hi Everyone, A long time ago I inherited the below paper bills with about 50x pages of coins as well. Just wondering if anyone recognizes or knows what the value of these bills are? In some cases I have 4-5 bills behind each one. Also if anyone knows of a good appraiser in Toronto please let me know would love to get the coins appraised considering there is so many. I was only able to upload 10x pages but all of them are on my dropbox link below. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wwyul1dhxgj234n/AAC0nQy1opQR2rj58ql2k8n6a?dl=0 Appreciate it in advance Thanks T
Most look like old currency not used in present day for those countries. I see the same ones at coin shows and flea markets for about $1.00 - $3.00 each If the condition of the older currency were better then maybe they would of been worth a bit more.
If you wish to sell them in bulk, I would like to buy them all (I'm referring to the banknotes) and pay via paypal. If so, write me your account address and the total amount of money you're asking for them, including postage to cyprus. For any questions contact me at: vfgrecia@gmail.com Best regards, Vasilis
Some decent little notes in there, I like those Bermuda's and there is a nice little Scotland in there. The "Gypsy" note is well liked, if common. Nothing highly valuable at first glance, but I like the choices made for collectible designs and quality. Depending on the quality, which is hard to judge, some of those notes might have some decent resale.
Many of the later pages are common low value notes but I can see about $300-400 in the better notes since they are obsolete issues from functioning national banks, not collapsed currencies like the German inflation marks and the Russian example. I am assuming average VF condition, possibly a bit more if justified by condition. They are of particular interest to me as I collect British Commonwealth series. Multiples would add to the value if the right notes are multiples, but odds are they are not.
I think it might be hard due to the currency pages they are in to get a good feel for them - and are those pages really old? Might be PVC pages... danger Will Robinson... I'd buy that first page with the 1/2, 1, and 3 Bahamian notes. I am a sucker for a $3 bill...
If I wanted to get the Bahamas note graded how would I go about doing so and with who? Is there any in Canada?
