    I'm new to this, so...

I have an 1890 Morgan silver dollar. Mint symbol is S. This has been in the family for 4 generations. Excellent shape. Would probably rate high.

Also, I have a 1792 Eight Real Bust Peso. Spanish colonial solid gold coin in absolutely perfect shape.

    Any idea on the values?

Howdy tork5567 - Welcome to the Forum !!

Your 1890-S Morgan could range in value from $8 to over $100 depending on condition. High grade examples are worth considerably more.

As for what you call your Spanish colonial gold coin - can you provide a better description ? Or perhaps provide the legends on the coin ? A picture would be best.

You see - I think I know what mean - but I'm only guessing based on the description you provided. The 8 reale coins are silver - not gold. And the peso did not exist until many, many years after the date you listed. So I'm not sure what the coin is.
