I have a slabbed NGS liberty seated 1876 quarter graded AU details. How much should I expect from a dealer, if I sell it to him?

Do you really mean NGS rather than NGC?

Does the slab resemble one of these?

If so, it is no longer operating, and seems to have been a sales vehicle/device for Marvel Sales, Inc. It is not one of the respected coin graders, so their grade is likely too high as was common for most self produced slabbing. A photo might allow the forum to give a grading based on current standards. Most likely it would sell as a raw coin of proper grade. Ebay auction results and other sources can give a pricing for thought, but in the end, it is demand that drives the sale.

I bought this in July and the heading actually says NCS. It does not look like the NGS sample.

It does say national conservation services and has the NGC scale on it.

Thanks for the information. I am not the best camera person so pictures would be difficult. Suffice to say the coin has been cleaned with all toning removed. No other surface damage was noted or seen.

My guess would be maybe $100, maybe less.
