information on a coin

    my husband was given a commemerative coin when he was in australia in 1885-86on it has printed royal australian mint canberra on one side on the other side it has7 coins printed on it + a sprig of tree does anyone know what this coin was for oh yes and is it worth anything

    Unless your hubby is in the Guinness book, I assume you mean 1985-86 :D . Without a denomination, date, or bust of the reigning monarch, the piece is probably a medal, not a coin. You can check the website of the Royal Australian Mint for information on it.
