Just know this... Not everything that looks different or strange is a Mint Error. Don't assume it's a Mint Error. Most issues are just PMD - Post Mint Damage. Ask first and you will learn little by little. Also.. A lot of true mint errors have very little or no premiums at all. Don't think you will become super rich when you find a misaligned die strike, die cracks or small die chips. Only mint errors that are considered major errors are worth sending for attribution. Others you can just stick in a 2x2 coin flip and save them.
Awe damn! No million dollar error coin-smh I will have to relook at them. I have a bunch of lamination errors and some others. Lol Stay tuned to crack up with my description or lack there of
Is the author Stan McDonald? Not the best book for errors but it's a start. He shows a lot of varieties. There is a difference between mint errors and varieties. https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/1655/Variety-versus-Mint-Error/ His book has some confusing and wrong terminology at times.
