Hi all, I have found this token in only 1 place online. Unfortunately it gives no info other than the price it is selling for.
Has anyone come across one before and can give me a bit more info on it, such as metal composition, why it was struck etc.
It is 45mm diameter, 3mm thick and weighs 48.35g and struck on one side only
    Many thanks for any help

In my opinion, your medal likely has something to do with sailing at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. For starters, Olav V, the then recently deceased King of Norway, was an avid sailor who had won a gold medal for sailing at the 1928 Summer Olympics. If I had to guess, your medal was likely part of a novelty set sold in the runup to the 1992 Olympic games.

Thankyou, I can use that as a reference to see if I find any more about it.

@paddyman98 for sure, sometimes it is nice to come across something that is out of the ordinary. As I am sure you feel the same when something different made your detector beep,

Well it relates to King Olav V of Norway, IDRETTSKOGEN translates as Sports King, MIANNEARRANGEMENT is memorial event. Olav V died in January 1991. So I would think it make be an award or souvenir of a sporting event held to memorialize the anniversary of his passing.
