Here is a thought...get rid of the entire US Political Parties, Elect a Man who is for the People, return to the Gold Standard!

Ouch..it will only hurt for a short while.

There's really nothing collectors can do. Our inflation is caused by our skyrocketing debt.

    Elaine...

Gold is gold...nothing will change that. Does not matter what country it is from. Gold is simply gold. From the bullion standpoint, not numismatic.

Pandas and Maple Leafs are bullion just like the eagles....

If you send as many 'inflated dollars' to me as possible, I will study them closely to find a solution.

Actually you want do something about USA $, you get new president, stop buying Chinese goodies and think about conserve fuel and not buy such big cars. Nah. Keep up, it good for Russia! Buy oil, buy natural gas, etc.

Do exactly what worked in the 1970s. Buy gold and silver coins. Buy a lot of that cheap Russian oil and gas and pay for it with treasury bonds that will never be paid back in anything close to the current purchasing power. Buy a house, they're getting cheaper. None of this is new to the people here who went through the 70s. Coins did well during the last inflation and there is every reason to expect them to do well again.

Gold was below $300 about 6 years ago, and silver was under $5. Gold and silver have gone up by more than the dollar has gone down. If the dollar continues to go down, gold and silver coins will probably continue to go up. The coins selling closest to bullion value will probably track the metal prices pretty closely. This is about all you can expect and all you need to preserve purchasing power. But keep in mind that nothing is guaranteed.

    thanks cloudsweeper99

when can the dollar rebound?. there is no such thing that the dollar will continue going down. in fact, if dollar weaken, the foreign currencies went up so slowly. but when they hit devaluation. 50% to 100% down immediately. check mexican or argentina currencies before.

    dollar downed

silver up to over $16.00. retail price for american eagle at $18.00 plus shipping and or tax. 500 pc and above at $17.75 plus shipping and or tax.

one canadian dollar equal U.S. $1.10 and above.

do coin collectors benefited from this current situation?.
