Can someone help me identify the attached? I have gone cross-eyed paging through Krause without finding it yet. Sanskrit writing in a Kutch style I think, but maybe a temple token? Measures about 26.5mm in diameter, and weighs 11.6gms - I believe it to be Silver. Thanks!
Still had no real response as to the Identification of this coin. Can anyone even just translate the writing on it for me? I have someone who wants to buy it off me, but only once I can tell him more about what it is! Thanks again. Paddy
This is what the Text Reads on your coin One side is the picture of Goddess of Wealth Lakshmi and reads: Shri Maha Lakshmi (Basically, Name of the Goddess) One the other side:Name of the Organization at the top and reads Pure 99.9% Silver with a 'OM' Symbol. Hope this helps
Thanks Veerchaudry - that helps enormously! When you say "Name of the Organisation" what do you mean? What is the name of the organisation? Thanks again! Paddy
Send joedas a PM, I know that he collects these and loves talking about them. He should have some pretty good information about it.
