Just picked up this 1862 1 Rupee from a LCS yesterday. I'm trying to attribute it, but I think I could use a little help in the final stages. Here's the coin: I believe this to match the Type A Obverse and Type 2 Reverse based on the diagnostics laid out on this page. The original 2x2 was marked "A/II" (which confirms what I see) and "0/4" - but it is also marked as an 1862 (c). The coin is 31mm in diameter exactly. According to Krause, there isn't a combination of the Calcutta mint and the A/II types with the 0/4 dot pattern. There is a Bombay mint version that matches all these diagnostics. Is this coin from the Bombay mint? Thanks!
This is the first one I've gotten a chance to own that had this much detail left, especially on the obverse dress detail. So I am also looking forward to correctly attributing it.
