Is it possible to get incuse doubling or even tripling on the outer edge lettering of the new park quarters? I have this new 2016 Shawnee that looks like doubling around the edge. The 'E's look like tripling on the serifs. Or is this just MD? Or die deterioration?
I don't know. Whenever I've pointed out doubling that looks like this, the people here at CT always say it's machine doubling... They seem to know more about this stuff than I do, so I'd be interested to see what they say. I thought I heard that "old fashioned" doubling isn't possible anymore?
