Cool find. I can remember waiting to see the date 2020 on the Lincoln cent. That was a very fun moment for me. I remember all long time ago saying to myself "how cool would it be to see 2020 date on the cent".
A nice full set of steps it seems...depending on where you stand on what that is according to *Official ANA Grading Standards 7th Edition, as well as TPG interpretations. On ANA grading standards (fairly recent I think, if not the most recent) there's not even a reference to FS...nothing. Maybe FS is not a "standard"...? More a "designation" that the ANA may want to stay clear of...I don't know...or maybe it doesn't apply so much with new/newer nickels as most seem to have them.
In 2016 I visited USA for the first time in 10 years and was slightly amazed to find this nickel in pocket change. I have since acquired a full set of them encased in plastic. Beautiful coins.
I'll be looking for my first 2021 find, whichever denomination it may be. This is a smaller community so certain things don't circulate quite as well as in bigger cities probably.
Got the first dime yesterday...3 more this AM. Starting to emerge an various communities here in Connecticut. Now the hunt for varieties in a new year begins!!
