Mike was a great friend. He and I used to get together at the Ft. Myers Coin Club Show, and I always remember the time that he showed me his Dansco collection of Barber Dime toners. They were gorgeous! Chris
I spent some time with Mike at a Baltimore show in 2012, I think. Incredibly helpful and encouraging to a new collector (me), and one of those people who you could meet once and feel that you had made a friend. What a loss, his enthusiasm was contagious.
I had the privilege of photographing many coins in his collection. I posted a photo tribute a while ago on the PCGS board. I'm pretty sure some have graced my annual calendar, and I'm sure one will this year.
